Mealworm Observations

Part of our process in raising mealworms is pausing often to observe them.  We take them from their vials, put them on plates and use jeweler's loupes to magnify them.  This helps us really see what they look like up close.  Students have made many gains in observational skills as a result of this frequent observation time.  Their drawings and recordings are becoming more detailed and descriptive.
