Getting Familiar with the Geography of Woolwich

To build background knowledge for our expedition into the history of transportation in Woolwich, we are taking some time to get comfortable with the geography in our town.  Each day this week we will be using a map of Woolwich to locate landmarks, bordering cities/towns and important waterways.  The kids are full of excitement about this near learning and are buzzing around the room, helping each other find certain locations or searching our large map of Woolwich to get a closer look at the details.
