Why Did Early Settlers Travel?

As the next part of our transportation work we read a common text to find out why early settlers needed to travel.  We highlighted the most important reasons.  We found out they traveled to get supplies, to trade, to visit friends and relatives, to grind grain at the mill and to go to church!  Below are some of our researches examining their informational text:
