Math: Building Polygons

One math lesson this week had us cutting out rectangles and triangles to use to create other polygons.  Students used visual models to help them get their shapes in the right place.  Some of the shapes built included parallelograms, trapezoids, rhombuses and kites.  Below you will also find a picture of the interactive white board in use as we practiced finding and naming a variety of triangles within a larger shape.
