A Water Bird: The Loon

This week we investigated a water bird as we studied the common loon.  We began by reading books about loons, taking notes on them and watching video clips of loons in action.  Students wrote and revised reports about loons and worked hard to master an accurate drawing of the loon.  Their posters came out great; lots of effort toward quality!
