Looking at Quality!

Today we got into small groups and investigated the quality of a dozen bird bookmarks from past second graders.  Students used an exit slip to list the characteristics that made a book mark a high quality product.  Examples of ideas included:  neat, detailed drawings, realistic drawings, vivid colors used, interesting and filled in backgrounds.  This activity helps students strive to do the best work they can as they head toward their final project in our bird expedition.
