End of the Week Pictures

Part of our writing work this week included noticing a page of writing missing end punctuation, all strong together by the word AND.  Second grade authors recognized this as something to avoid!

In our scientist's notebooks we took some time to identify the many places where insects might live.  Kids loved drawing a variety of insect habitats.

Writing partners worked together to share their stories and get feedback about their writing.

Writing partners also helped each other be "reading detectives" to find any missing punctuation!
