Reading with a friend during DEAR time (Drop Everything and Read) is fun!

Insect Safari on Friday - we searched for insects in our garden.

We looked for evidence of leaves eaten by insects.

And the kids locate the hive that's been bringing lots of wasps around!

We learned to use "flaps" to revise our writing.  Adding on and improving our pieces was very motivating with these flaps!
