 A Note about Winter Gear

With the cold, wintry weather making its first appearance we wanted to pass along some important information about winter gear.   Please be sure your child has a warm coat, hats and mittens for recess every day.  We go outside unless it is raining or if the wind chill is unsafe.  Students will need boots when there is snow on the ground and shoes to wear inside the classroom (we don’t keep wet boots on in our rooms) during the day.

Since we have spacious lockers it would be a great idea for everyone to send in a change of clothes for your child to keep here as back-up in case they need them at some point.  Also, an extra set of mittens and an extra hat is helpful as they often get wet at recess time.
