Highlights of the Week

One of our math lessons this week required us to solve a tricky problem about division or "equal sharing."  Students worked in small groups and had to persevere and collaborate as teammates to solve the problem.  We discussed that perseverance means that you stick with something even if it is challenging.  Second graders showed they could try a different strategy if their first idea didn't work out!
