A Fascinating Creature

This week the mudskipper was the talk of our classroom.  This interesting creature, featured in our Scholastic News magazine, was lots of fun to learn about. After reading the magazine issue, students went back to the text two more times, once to find key ideas and details to make a mudskipper fact card, and another time to find important information to answer questions.  Watching students complete these activities is a great indicator of how much growth they've made since September!
