TRIP TO THE LOCAL GARDEN

We had a blast today as we took our first field trip together to the LOCAL Garden in Bath.  We learned about potatoes, harvested almost 100 pounds of them, cleaned and sorted them and then weeded and helped put the gardens to bed for the winter.  Second graders were outstanding gardeners - lots of hard work, perseverance and fun as we got our hands in the soil!  Thanks to our awesome volunteers who helped us every step of the way!
