Highlights of the Week

As part of Black History Month we practiced our close reading skills with special individuals such as Ruby Bridges.

We began to explore "Author's Purpose" in reading workshop.  This book was Rosa, about Rosa Parks.

Students worked on a mural to document their learning of a variety of important figures in our nation's history.

The snow at recess Wednesday was fluffy and fun!

Scholastic News focused on the real life events of a young girl and her friends who fought back against segregation in 1958.

A fun game to help us add and subtract multi digit numbers.
