Highlights of the Week

We focused a lot on telling time this week and students used their mini clocks to practice!

We also worked to understand AM and PM.  Kids drew various activities they do at both times.

On Thursday we attended the dress rehearsal for the middle school band and chorus concert!

Reading realistic fiction in small groups and working on comprehension questions together

Mrs. S complimented us on what a respectful audience we were at the dress rehearsal.

As part of our realistic fiction series, we are created side characters to accompany our main character.

We listed potential problems our character could have.

In reading workshop we identified problems and solution in the realistic fiction we read.

We described and planned the realistic characters we created and planned our first story carefully.
