Second Grade Harvests Veggies at The L.O.C.A.L. Garden




Both second grades joined Emily Dittman, Culinary Arts Teacher at BRVC and her students, to harvest vegetables at the L.O.C.A.L. Garden in Bath.  Students picked beets, green beans, carrots, onions and more!  The food was sent to RSU kitchens to be used in our schools.  The kids had a great time and were hard workers as they picked and washed for more than an hour!  They wrote a class book about the experience when we returned.
