In science and writing this week we used our learning about fact/motion principles to revise our catapult experiments. Students met with their partners to answer this question: “How can we revise our catapult so the cotton ball and ping pong ball can travel farther?” We added some new possible materials, examined some online catapult models and the revision began. Partners created new catapults, which are clearly getting more air. Students are now going through the steps of setting up their procedures and conducting the experiment.
