Our wonderful librarian, Ms. Luchies, has organized another fun two weeks of listening to guest readers share the new nominees for the Chickadee Award. Students heard a new book each day and then were given the opportunity to write about the main character or big idea, tell their favorite part, and rate the book in their Chickadee Booklet. Guest readers this week included Mr. Libby, Mrs. Keefe and Mrs. Buchan. The children loved hearing these newly published books. Next week they will hear the rest of the books before voting for their absolute favorite. We are looking forward to seeing which book will get the most votes, in our school and later, from all the kids in the state of Maine.
