Highlights of the Week

Opening valentines from our friends!

Scholastic New work about Towers of Ice.  We practice nonfiction text features on our second reading.

Fun Groundhog Day reading

We are learning to identify an author's purpose in writing a particular book.

Members of our Wellness Team deliver a tray of purple/blue fruits and veggies!  The second graders love to see them coming.

Door decorating contest - the kids put LOTS of effort into filling our door with healthy foods.

Students had no trouble identifying their favorite fruit or veggies - great eaters in this class!

This tray was a big hit with our class.  Kids thought the red cabbage was pretty good!

Informational Writing Celebration with Mrs. Vise's Class

Students shared their Force and Motion All About books with each other.

Proudly displaying our final informational writing projects

The green tray was full of yumminess- scallions were a big hit this day!
