Highlights of the Week

Odds Bodkin performed for the K-5 community on Monday morning!

Here he plays his harp and tells a story through the music and his voice.

Odds has students join in with the chorus for one of the stories.

In Art on Monday we made gifts for our families.

We measured our desks with our foot-long tools.

Students worked with partners to measure objects around the room.

Students wrote about how they are good friends after our visit from the Cromwell Center last week.

After finishing the second book in Judith Viorst's "Lulu" series, we did book responses about good old Lulu.

This week we investigated stronger, deeper introductions.

Students are learning to add "meatier" content to their pages.

A student author shared her conclusion to help us thing of ways to go further with our endings.

PJ Day?  Mrs. Pols and Mrs. Vise somehow showed up in the same pajamas!

Looking at books, in our pjs, at library browse time while the snow fell outside

The 6th graders did a reader's theater performance of The Grinch for us in the forum.  PJ photo op of our adorable class!

This morning we took time to make special cards for our wonderful specialist teachers.
