Highlights of the Week

Students worked to create vocabulary books about important force and motion terms.

We did a lot of sorting to figure out push and pull as it relates to force.

In math we worked in groups to measure crooked paths.

Real tape measures?  What's more fun than that?

Students used both sides of the tape measure as they found distances in both inches and centimeters.

Our first experiment with the level of force needed to push cars certain distances.

Groups collaborated to consider their results.

Our first experiment to get us acquainted with the scientific process.

Students analyzed results after experimenting.

Vocabulary booklets

This group sorted force and motion terms with their definitions.

We conducted a second experiment on Friday about mass.

Students tested out the level of force needed for objects with varied mass.
