Highlights of the Week

Collecting data on how far a car would go off a ramp on the bare floor

We learned about Martin Luther King, Jr in class and in library.

Here we are collecting data about how far a car goes off the ramp when on the classroom rug

Measuring distances as we collect car/ramp data

Each student had their own lab booklet.

Students recorded materials needed to begin the experiment.

As a class we planned and wrote our procedures before experimenting.

Students played "Beat the Calculator" in math to master math facts.

In math we did lots of work with coins and making change.

These students began to plan their second experiment for next week.

We studied mentor texts of science experiments.

Students wrote letters on the Wildcat Express!

Getting mail is pretty exciting!
