Highlights of the Week

Mr. Forrester brought bee hives and talked to us about his work with the bees.

Students used i-pad mages of the birds they are researching to  draw  realistic, quality drawings.

We worked on asking questions before, during and after reading as a way to understand text.

This student used tin foil left from lunch to create talons!

Each child worked on two pages for their memory book.  Mrs. Pols will do the third page for them!

In math we sorted parallel and non parallel lines.

Buddies!

Samples of questions from Eve Bunting's Fly Away Home.

Playing Headbands at "Woolwich State Park."  If you can't be at the beach, bring the beach to the classroom!

A little yoga session!

A fun game of Clue

Cookie delivery!  Thanks, Mrs. Harrison!

We got to go the 4th Grade Wax Museum to hear from famous Mainers.

Thursday was our final PE class with Mrs. Harrington.  We each made her a special page in a class book and brought her flowers.  It is awfully sad to see her go.
