Highlights of the Week

We used trapezoids to make combinations of "work tables."

Students tried to solve a problem using trapezoids to make a variety of classroom worktables in different shapes and configurations.

We enjoyed some really beautiful weather at morning recess this week!

We haven't had a class picture in a long time.  They seem so much older than the last one!

A student's blue jay report after days of research

Students published their poems in their own anthologies.

We prepared bird folders to organize all our work.

Illustrating a poem about BigFoot.

Proud of their poetry book covers

This tool is helping us study birds' beaks closely.

Here is our note catcher for researching the blue jay.

On Monday each child got a research packet full of facts and information about the blue jay.

We used a "How To" drawing program on our chrome books to teach us step by step instructions for making blue jays.

We began our last math unit of the year!

Proud poet!
