First Mealworm Observations

It was an exciting day when we each got our own mealworms to raise!  Second graders used magnifying glasses to examine their insects.  Our young scientists practiced making quality, factual observations during the observation process.  We made sure that the mealworms had what they needed to survive:  a habitat, air, food and water.
