SPIRIT WEEK IS NEXT WEEK:
Monday, December 4th- Athletic clothing day (wear your favorite exercise/ sports clothing)...
Tuesday, December 5th- Twin/Group Day (get together with friends and come up with an outfit that matches one another)...
Wednesday, December 6th- Whacky Wednesday (wear a mismatched outfit with crazy designs, patterns, color schemes and whatever else might make it whacky)...
Thursday, December 7th- Whacky hair day (make your hair as silly/unique as possible)...
Friday, December 8th- Blue and Gold day (wear your best Woolwich wildcat colors and show your school spirit)...

On Friday we read an informational text and began to discuss the features that make it nonfiction. Next week our reading workshops will focus entirely on nonfiction books! |

At the beginning of the week we read a book in a very familiar genre that we've been writing ourselves: realistic fiction. Iris and Walter is a sweet series about two best friends who are about the age of our second graders. |
