Trip to the Community Garden in Bath

On Friday morning we took our first field trip of the year to the LOCAL Community Garden in Bath.  We harvested beets, pumpkins, green beans and carrots.  Our wonderful chaperones helped us pick vegetables, snip stems, wash veggies, weed the garden beds and carry loads to the compost heap.  This week we will get to sample some of these foods in our WCS cafeteria!
