HIghlights of the Week

Fresh snow Monday made recess extra fun!

In Art on Monday the kids had a free-choice extravaganza.  Many made gifts for their families.

In writing workshop all week we "fancied up" our stories.

In math we did lots of measuring.  Everyone thought it was fun to measure Mrs. Pols!

Using the "foot long" tool to measure our mailboxes

We read "How Big is a Foot," which helped us to recognize the importance of a standard unit of measure.

We had fun making snowmen to decorate the room and hallway.

On Friday Mrs. Brooks came in to lead us in a fun solstice craft.
